School benches made from recycled plastic! Plastiki Rafiki has been prototyping the design of classic local school benches with surfaces made from 100% recycled HDPE and PP plastic. Working with the Ark Community Centre – Familie Kroppach based in Kariobangi and Huruma the plan is to build 30+ benches made from waste plastic collected by the school children during community clean up drives.
