We recently helped set up a plastic recycling workspace at the Turkana Basin Institute (TBI) on the shores of lake Turkana. TBI organized a clean up drive at the local village and collected a small mountain of plastic. Crazy how much plastic you can find in the most remote parts of Kenya, but encouraging to know that it can now be recycled in unique products! Watch this space as we continue our work with TBI creating unique product molds and custom machines for remote environs.
