Plastiki Rafiki designed and carefully crafted 13 trophies for the recently concluded Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) Sustainability Recognition Awards. The unique trophies were made out of recycled plastic and wood off cuts – a truly sustainable way to recognize Kenyan organizations and companies working towards a circular economy.

Youth Sustainability champion-Slum Going Green and Kibera Mtaa Safi
Recycling champion – Vintz Plastic Limited, Mr. Green Africa, and Takataka Solutions Ltd
Design for recycling champion- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and Packaging Industries Ltd
Organizations promoting circular economy – Centre for Community Development and Human Rights and Kenya Association of Waste Recyclers
Trees Growing Champions – Kenya Breweries Limited and CKL Africa Ltd
