With the conclusion of COP26 and the global call for urgent action to combat climate change – Plastiki Rafiki has joined forces with eight other ISK student clubs to form the “Carbon Neutral Alliance” with the goal too advocate for reduction and monitoring of ISK’s carbon footprint. Following a presentation to the school board we are proud to announce that ISK has committed to fast-tracking our transition towards carbon neutrality by 2030. In response to proposals by the Carbon Neutral Alliance – ISK is in the process of undertaking the first step, a full environmental audit that will guide us in our work.
Climate crisis is the greatest challenge we face. It also offers us the greatest opportunities for innovation and creative solutions. Now is the time to align our interests with the rest of the world and show that ISK Cares!
