First fish caught on a Crankbait made from 100% recycled plastic! This project by an ISK STEM Pathways student has been going on for the last two years – with countless iterations of lure and mold designs. Turns out creating a lure that swims naturally through the water at the right depth out of discarded plastic is no easy feat! This final design used a resin printed mold and discarded HDPE plastic. Turning lake shore trash into treasure – tight lines!
